Founder & Chief Executive Officer

In 1972, Eng. Medhat Shalaby received his degree from College De La Sainte Famille - Jesuits.

Achieved his civil engineering bachelor's degree from Cairo University in 1977.

From 1977 until 1985, worked as a civil engineer at a number of businesses, including the French company Lantciut.

Established Shalaby Construction in 1986.

Founded BARCO MISR in 2006 and continued on his path to establish BIANCHI in 2007.

Founded Life Sports Club, a new 25-acre project in the heart of New Cairo.

Vice Chairman

Graduated from the College De La Sainte Famille's Jesuites in 2003.

Completed his undergraduate studies at Concordia University, with a degree in civil and environmental engineering.

Worked at Bianchi for five years on the construction team in the early years.

From 2014 to 2016, he worked at Dar Al-Handasah.

From 2016 to the present, he has held the position of Vice Chairman at Shalaby Construction.

Served as CEO of Life Sports Club from 2020 to 2022.

Chief Investment Officer

Graduated from Cairo American College in 2008.

Achieved his bachelor's degree in Economics at JMSB, Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Started working as Financial Security & Mutual Fund Advisor in Canada for two years.

Worked in Investment Banking at EFG Hermes.

Worked as Venture Capital Fund Investment VP at Egypt Ventures for a year.

Currently holds the position of Chief Investment Officer at Shalaby Construction.
